WEEKEND ADULT WORKSHOPS
Below is a list of our weekend workshops for 2026. All workshop participants can complete started workshop projects in the studio free of charge if needed after workshops are over. We always want to be able to support completing a project. We also have finishing sessions listed if you need help implementing a final look to your projects.

Have several projects hanging around that are not completed yet? Utilize these finishing class times to tie up lose ends and bring that work in for painting, repairing, mounting etc. Help with most painting, staining, sealing and repairing, supplies provided.
Mother’s Day SKETCHing At the good place farm

Looking for a light-hearted and unique Mother's Day experience? Come out to the country and take a fun sketching workshop together at the Good Place Farm in Chattahoochee Hills. Snack on farm treats, pet and feed critters, and learn how to really see and draw animals in a hands on environment. All materials provided, all age groups and levels welcome for fun filled instruction.

ASSEMBLAGE AND MATERIALS
SATURDAY MAY 23 1-5pm $75
Come, spend a fascinating day, working with compilations of materials, and how they work together to communicate. In this course students will understand the variety of ways to bring materials together successfully visually as well as technically to make unique, interesting and dynamics objects. Some materials provided. Bring your junk drawer!
SOFT PLASTER CARVING 2 day intro
SATURDAY JUNE 13 & SATURDAY JUNE 27 1-5pm $ 150
Come enjoy an introductory course in simple carving utilizing a soft dry plaster block to create a dynamic piece in the round without the aggravation that comes with harder materials. Students will complete a carved, sanded and color/waxed piece over the 2 sessions.
INTRO TO CLAY PORTRAIT SCULPTING 1 DAY
SATURDAY JULY 18 th 10-4 SUPPLIES / LUNCH INCLUDED $185
Come spend a full day learning how to sculpt the human head with a live model. Students will learn the basic proportions of the head, face and neck, working with an armature and will have a fired clay piece that they will finish at a second finishing class time that is included. No experience necessary. 8/22 finishing
Venetian inspired ball masks
AUG 1 10-4pm SUPPLIES / LUNCH INCLUDED $165
Utilizing inspiration from Venetian masks, students will produce a detailed masquerade style facial covering using a variety of materials including thermal plastics such as Worbla to create a sophisticated lightweight personalized mask / headdress for display and actual use.
SATURDAY AFTERNOON DRAWING WITH MOM & BABY
SATURDAY AUG 8 1-3 PM $45
Come spend a heartwarming afternoon of cake, coffee and model & baby as subject for this drawing session. The long-standing topic of mother and child will be explored not only from the technical side of drawing but also the emotional and energetic side within the works. All materials included
SCANNING work for Printing output
SATURDAY AUG 16th 1-4pm $75
Join us for 3 hours where you will discover the art and science of mobile phone 3-D scanning. Learn to transform your sculpture or anything else into accurate digital models using just your smart phone. participants will engage in hands-on sessions capturing scans processing data and exploring the possibilities of online 3-D printing options no prior experience is required just bring your curiosity a mobile device and a passion for digital creativity the scanning app we will use are free to download 3-D printing is optional with cost varying, dependent on vendor, output, size and material.
Bases mounts and presentation format
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 5 1-5 pm $ 110
In this one-day workshop, students will learn to create and construct base types in wood, concrete, found objects and metal for existing and future sculptural works. Additionally, students will also be instructed on how to successfully mount their sculptural pieces for exhibition display purposes and installations, most materials included. Students will be asked to identify the pieces that they are interested in mounting prior to attending the workshop and may be required to purchase specific or unique materials.
Hand painted scarfs
SATURDAY OCTOBER 3 1-5pm $85

FAST ROAD TO ABSTRACTION workshop
SATURDAY OCTOBER 17 1-5pm $95
This 4 hour custom workshop is designed to provide a variety of techniques, strategies and tools to successfully move into abstracted forms using a logical approach, preferences and goals. Over the 4 hours, students will discuss, analyze, plan and experiment with the language of abstraction and create a smaller starter piece to move forward from. General materials provided as well as refreshments.
SCULPT IT MOLD IT CAST IT
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 7 10-5 $165
This full day workshop covers the introductory processes of sculpting, mold-making and casting a small object combined into one fast paced day. Great for making ornaments and small gifts. Materials included
