Stone carving has been part of the creative process for thousands of years. In this simple, hands-on subtractive workshop students will learn to work with soft alabaster stone and hand tools to create a three-dimensional in the round sculpture. Work periods outside of class will be scheduled and stones will be order based on student preferences. Tools & supplies provided.
