Fabric on Rod DAY 3 SATURDAY 10-4PM

In this unique multi step technical workshop, students will learn the process of brazing rods together to create a metal framework on which fabric or paper will be applied, creating exotic and unique light fixtures and translucent sculptures. Students will spend the first weekend braising designs together and then finishing them with a skin during the following work sessions. Color, sheen and dying techniques will also be explored on the final day. Some personalized material choices required.
