WELCOME TO OUR SCULPTURE CLASS

At Blue Merle sculpture is our passion and we provide exploration in a variety of approaches and media.   We start by focusing on more traditional jumping off points, utilizing the figure and elements of abstraction in clay, to stone carving, reliefs, mold making and even prosthetic mask making. Students are encouraged to bring their own unique understanding of the world, their aesthetic preferences and explore materials and processes in which to make things with. We offer 10 specialized workshops in sculptural practices outside of clay figure modeling and welcome suggestions for desired workshops.
